Adam Delbridge-Smith is a British conductor, brass musician, and educator based in South Florida. He is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Wind Conducting at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music, where he also serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the conducting studio of Dr. Michael Hancock.
Adam is a graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, England, where he studied trumpet and developed his work as a performer, conductor, and ensemble leader. In the UK, he served as Musical Director of the Vernon Building Society (Poynton) Brass Band in Cheshire, leading the ensemble through a period of significant musical and organizational growth.
Since relocating to the United States, Adam has become active within the South Florida music community, including work with Orchid City Brass Band. His approach to conducting centers on thoughtful leadership, musical integrity, and the long-term development of both ensembles and individual musicians.
