Sean Rees is a member of the Vic Firth/Zildjian Education Team, and a graduate of the University of Arizona in Percussion Performance, with additional studies in Music Education. As Assistant Percussion Instructor with the Frost Band of the Hour, Sean rehearses the battery drumline, writes and arranges drum parts, and choreographs drill design for UM’s marching band and indoor drumline. He concurrently holds positions as Director of Marching Percussion for the FIU Marching Band, Assistant Director of Bands at Flanagan High School, and overall Battery and Visual Tech for STRYKE world percussion. His drumline performance credits include Blue Devils Entertainment Miami, an appearance at the 2019 Ultra Music Festival, a music video for Universal Music Group, and four national tours with Drum Corps International world class ensembles Carolina Crown Drum & Bugle Corps and The Academy DBC.
